In Memory of Hugh Erwin

Hugh Erwin was a beloved member of the Mena community. His wide-spread interests included not only the visual arts but also the Ouachita Little Theatre where he played many roles: actor, director, and guiding presence.

His contributions to the gallery were also many: founding member of the Ouachita Art Trails Studio Tour, a talented artist whose work gave excitement to many exhibits, designer of our website.

Another passion of Hugh’s was the volunteer fire department where he was a long-time member of the department at Old Potter.

We would like to dedicate the 2011 Ouachita Art Trails Studio Tour to his memory.
